Amber Oolong is a tea speciality from the golden triangle in Thailand. Here, the highest quality tea bushes from Taiwan (Formosa) were cultivated, whose teas enjoy the highest reputation around the world.
Thailand Amber Oolong comes from the mountain region around Doi Mae Salong. It grows at altitudes of up to 1,800 m. The leaf is fermented only very briefly, then rolled tightly and pressed into balls. In the cup it glows like saffron.

Gyokuro, also called shade tea, is one of the highest quality green teas in the world. Gyokuro is actually produced in Japan, but today there are also Chinese plantations that produce this tea according to the Japanese model. The tea bushes are shaded with bamboo mats 2 weeks before harvesting, which creates a characteristic aroma that the Japanese call "umami". Lung Ching (sometimes translated as Long Jin) is a green tea from the Chinese province of Zhejiang. The name translates as "dragon well tea". This alludes to a legend according to which a dragon lived in a well in the village of Hangzhou and bullied the villagers. One day, the dragon discovered fine tea leaves growing around the well. From then on, he feasted on them instead of ravishing the village's virgins.

Pi Lo Chun is a speciality from the Suzhou region in Yunnan, the most southeastern province of China. Its characteristic feature is the wiry, long leaf, which is slightly twisted into a spiral shape. This shape gives the tea its name, Pi Lo Chun (depending on the translation also Bi Lou Chun), and means something like "spring snail". The Chinese Emperor Quianlong (1736 - 1796) gave this tea its somewhat poetic name after falling in love with the delicate taste of Pi Lo Chun. The addition Emperor refers to the premium quality from this plantation.

Fukamushicha translates as "deeply steamed tea" and stands for a special way of steaming the tea leaves. In this method from Shizuoka, these Sencha leaves are exposed to intense steam, which causes the cell walls to open up further and the valuable active ingredients to enter the cup. This high-quality tea comes from the top region of Kagoshima. About 9% of Kagoshima is a natural park where this tea is grown. The beautiful mountain landscape with its volcanoes provides the perfect climate for a green tea of the highest quality. The large temperature differences between day and night and the evening and morning mist are ideal for cultivation. The haze dampens the sun's rays and provides the perfect humidity for the tea to grow slowly and absorb a variety of healthy nutrients (L-theatin).
