The pear is an ancient cultivated fruit brought to Central Europe by the Romans. Botanically speaking, pears are closely related to apples, but they have a shorter shelf life and are considerably more expensive. Nevertheless, the juicy, aromatic fruit has many lovers.

The taste of this First Flush tea is aromatic-sweet, balanced, and remarkably strong with a hint of "bite." The small, heavily processed leaves have pale tips and are black with greenish undertones.
